“The Unshaven Haven of Burlesque”

Dionysia(she/they) is a professional burlesque performer, instructor, show producer and figure model based in Milwaukee, WI.  

In burlesque, Dionysia is known for her mesmerizing and exploratory style of burlesque combining improvisation, audience interactions, and expressive storytelling.  She’s been featured across many burlesque communities including Full Moon Crucible in Madison, WI, Hue Revue in Milwaukee, WI, Soho Burlesque Lounge in Chicago, WI, and was a 2023 Silver Tusk Awards Finalist for the Now Arriving(Outstanding Newbie) award.

In the art world, Dionysia is known for her grand gestures and expressive poses. She is trained by renowned figure model Joseph Vignieri of Draw Joseph Studio, having the honor of being Joseph’s 90th protégé. Her posing has been featured in both online and in-person sessions including UW-Parkside Depart of Art & Design, Mitchell Street Arts (Milwaukee), Grotesque Burlesque (Chicago), and Dibujo al Natural (Mexico City).

Dionysia is proudly non-binary and an advocate for female body hair representation on and off the stage.
